HOLDING
SPACE
FOR
OTHERS
Holding space for others means learning to be present and supportive in relationships in a way that honours each person’s sovereignty and autonomy while still offering compassion and encouragement.
The practice of holding space can transform the way you interact with people at home, at work, at church, in your community organizations, in your activist groups, online, and with yourself.
We offer a variety of programs that will help you
deepen your practice in
holding space for other people.
Some are self-study programs, but for more in-depth learning, we encourage you to dive into our community learning programs where you’ll have a chance to have meaningful conversations about how this practice is showing up in your life.

In my work with grievers I am even most present, really able to ‘be with’ some of the most painful experiences and feelings people can ever have. I am listening more deeply and content to hold my peace when it doesn’t serve.
